Synopsis: Sixteen-year-old Phoebe Irving has traded life in San Francisco for her stepfather’s ancestral mansion in rural England. It’s supposed to be the new start her family needs. Review: There is only one word to describe this book: phenomenal! I loved the story with its slight aspects of horror. I loved everything about this book. I smiled and cried! I cheered when the evil lost. This was truly a remarkable book and I can't wait for the rest of the series.

Writing Wednesday | "Rolling Hills and Mighty Mountains"

This is something I wrote for a contest of some type for figment.com. I just love this one a lot because it's based off a vacation I took years ago. Hope you all enjoy! It started out as any vacation would. A long car drive down the highway watching other cars zoom by and making shapes out of the clouds. Sometimes I would sleep, but other times I would imagine being anywhere else than in the car. Grandpa would look at me in the rear view mirror from time to time as he drove, but I paid no special attention to his glances. Why should I?
