Hey guys! It feels like forever since I last had a post on here. So I would like to apologize for the lack of posts on here. I have been very busy reading a lot of books and all the reading has taken up most of my time. I will go back to posting regularly starting today. This is something I wrote for a contest of some type for figment.com. I just love this one a lot because it's based off a vacation I took years ago. Hope you all enjoy! It started out as any vacation would. A long car drive down the highway watching other cars zoom by and making shapes out of the clouds. Sometimes I would sleep, but other times I would imagine being anywhere else than in the car. Grandpa would look at me in the rear view mirror from time to time as he drove, but I paid no special attention to his glances. Why should I? I didn't want to be stuck in the car as we headed to see some relatives I had never met in West Virginia. I was bored. There was nothing to do but stare out the window and even that got boring after a while. "What are you thinking about, Nicole?" Mom asked from behind me. I turned around in my seat to look at Mom.
