Why I Read It: I've seen the movie, so I thought that I'd read the book too.

Synopsis: Sophie has the great misfortune of being the eldest of three daughters, destined to fail miserably should she ever leave home to seek her fate. But when she unwittingly attracts the ire of the Witch of the Waste, Sophie finds herself under a horrid spell that transforms her into an old lady. Her only chance at breaking it lies in the ever-moving castle in the hills: the Wizard Howl's castle. To untangle the enchantment, Sophie must handle the heartless Howl, strike a bargain with a fire demon, and meet the Witch of the Waste head-on. Along the way, she discovers that there's far more to Howl—and herself—than first meets the eye.


Review: I loved the movie and I wanted to read this for a while. Most spell-binding story ever. I completely loved it and I read it in one afternoon after getting it from the library that same day. I was that engrossed in the story.  The book was just as whimsical as the movie and hilarious too. I really enjoyed reading it and would change nothing about it.

Writing Wednesday | Writing Propmt "Winter Solstice"

Happy New Year everyone! I am so sorry for not posting in such along time, but I promise you that I will be posting regularly from now on (baring that life doesn't get in the way too much). Today, I thought it would be best to do something a little different. I love writing prompts because you can always do something different with them all the time. Emmaline sat on a snow covered log, watching the Winter Fey danced round and round the bonfire.
