Welcome to Book Blitz!

Welcome to the new blog! After having "Calling All Teens" for about four years and only having one real follower, I have decided to revamp the blog. So I have given it a new name and look. I will also be reviewing both e-books and hardcopy books. I am not altogether sure that all the e-books that I have on my Kindle can be gotten on the Nook, so for those of you with a Nook, I apologize now. All the summaries and the cover pictures for the books will come from Goodreads.com. I will take book recommendations, suggestions, and feedback.  This is my new start for the new year. I hope you like it!

Reading in a different place can be very beneficial to keep from falling into a slump. 3. Writing Wednesday | "Rolling Hills and Mighty Mountains"

This is something I wrote for a contest of some type for figment.com. I just love this one a lot because it's based off a vacation I took years ago. Hope you all enjoy! It started out as any vacation would. A long car drive down the highway watching other cars zoom by and making shapes out of the clouds. Sometimes I would sleep, but other times I would imagine being anywhere else than in the car. Grandpa would look at me in the rear view mirror from time to time as he drove, but I paid no special attention to his glances. Why should I? I didn't want to be stuck in the car as we headed to see some relatives I had never met in West Virginia. I was bored. There was nothing to do but stare out the window and even that got boring after a while. "What are you thinking about, Nicole?" Mom asked from behind me. I turned around in my seat to look at Mom. She was reading another Jane Austen novel while my sister was leaning against her shoulder, asleep. How my mo...
